Firefox Myth

Until recently I was suggesting Firefox to every second person I met. But now am in a dilemma after I came across a comment from Mr. Anonymous few hours back with a link to http://www.firefoxmyths.com Hmmm must say, am bit confused on what to believe and what not to.

Dear anonymous Please leave a forwarding E Mail id so that I cld reply back to your comments. Has anyone got a theory for why so many visitors to blogs feel the urge to tell you all the ways in which you are wrong, dumb, suck etc, but don't feel enough conviction to have their name associated with their opinions? It seems strange to me that someone would want to give another the benefit of their wisdom but not take credit for it. I can understand someone posting anonymously if there is a chance their comments could get them into some sort of trouble, but otherwise...

Ofcourse its perplexing! First of all the thing about Firefox! and second of all.. the thing you said about anonymous posts! Well you know, they like to come and read your blogs! So why not atleast build up a rapport!! Ah! the mysteries of the human mind!

Don't read Firefox Myths without having a look at Firefox Fables too, especially the blogs - responses section where a lot of people have taken the time to point out the errors in Firefox Myths.

I've already printed up a few copies for circulation at Church, where I'm a Deacon, as well as posted them at work. I even convinced the company owner to ban the bug ridden piece of filth from our network! He was FUROUS to find out the computer guy had installed something on his computer that had two year old bugs!
